About Pirate Captain Flan
Pirate Captain Flan sits below the pool median on both Damage Dealt and Damage Suffered, a shape most meta heroes do not share since the two numbers usually move in opposite directions for a given hero. She wins somewhat more often than a typical meta hero while being picked at close to the pool's typical rate, and she is almost never prebanned, so whatever teams think of her, they are not moving to remove her before the draft opens.
Byblis aside, a board that mostly favors her
Her hardest matchup by a clear margin is Perfumer Byblis, with Lady of the Scales, Zio, Arbiter Vildred and Boss Arunka forming a tighter group behind her and Setsuka, Harsetti and Estelle further back still. On the other side of the draft she has one of the more reliable answers to Aubade Ludwig, with Eye of the Abyss Fumyr and Tidal Rift Elvira also landing in her favor and a couple more heroes rounding out a positive matchup list. Zio and Lady of the Scales, despite being two of her harder matchups, are also her best partners when they land on her side instead of the other, worth remembering before either one shows up across the board.
